CURRENT MISSION

The Shadowhawk is preparing to leave on its next mission. It has been sent to investigate a rogue Romulan warship that's been attacking Federation freighters and threatening the fragile peace.

The year is 2410. The Third Romulan Civil War has just ended. A fragile coalition between moderate senators and the isolationist Anna'eri Nuar faction has overthrown the hawkish s'Tei house-clan who had brought the Empire to the point of implosion. Now is the time to rebuild. The s'Tei and their telepathic adepts have not been crushed though, and their supporters will do anything they can to chip away at the delicate alliance between the two new ruling factions.

External threats also abound. The Empire is still recovering from a recent war of aggression led by the Federation and their Mirak allies, and the rebel Democratic Romulan Republic is weakening. The Klingons smell blood, and the Empire must be prepared to halt any action they take. It is a very dangerous time indeed.

The RIS Shadowhawk is a Firehawk class battle cruiser of the Romulan Star Empire. Under the direct command of the Ministry of Information, its mission is to preserve the fragile peace at any cost.
